MMOexp POE 2: As of now, Hoghunt is available through various loot sources. Here's how players typically obtain this unique mace:
World Drops
Hoghunt can be obtained as a random world drop in areas appropriate to its item level. You'll want to POE2 Currency run mid-tier zones, as the item is not endgame-tier but also doesn't appear extremely early. Mapping in the level 30–50 range gives you a decent chance at seeing it drop naturally.
Vendor Recipes
Though no known vendor recipe currently guarantees Hoghunt, keeping an eye on vendor exchanges that involve two-handed maces or crit modifiers could increase your chances of acquiring similar weapons while progressing through the campaign.
Boss and Chest Drops
Certain mini-bosses or elite enemies in side zones and dungeons have a higher drop rate for specific unique items. While Hoghunt isn't tied to a specific boss yet, expect new content patches to introduce targeted farming opportunities.
Trading with Other Players
Arguably, the most efficient method, especially if you're deep into the economy, is to buy Hoghunt using POE 2 Currency. With the right trading site or in-game trade interface, you can exchange Orbs and other currency items for this weapon rather than hoping for a lucky drop.
Why POE 2 Currency Matters
In Path of Exile 2, currency items are more than just gold, they're crafting tools, trade tokens, and progression enablers. Key currencies like Chaos Orbs, Orbs of Alchemy, and Fusing Orbs can all be used either to craft upgrades or to trade for gear like Hoghunt.
Tips for Farming POE 2 Currency Efficiently:
Run High-Mob-Density Areas: Zones with a high pack size modifier drop more loot and therefore more currency.
Sell Unused Rares: Even if a rare isn't usable for you, it can be traded or sold for useful POE 2 Currency.
Flip Items on Trade: Buy low, sell high. Spot underpriced weapons or currency and trade them for profit.

If you're actively farming or trading, you'll not only have a better chance at getting Hoghunt but also be well-prepared to buy POE 2 Divine Orbs buy or craft other powerful items for your build.
